  • When viewing from the front S8’s display is curved around the edges, which one will not find in iPhone X
  • From back, both are plain looking with single lens  camera and finger scanner in Galaxy S8, whereas one has dual lens camera on the iPhone X
  • Galaxy S8 is IP68-certified, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes, while the iPhone X is apparently water- and dust-resistant to a ‘microscopic’ level
  • Color: Samsung Galaxy S8 is available in Midnight Black, Orchid Grey, Arctic Silver, Coral Blue and Maple Gold
iPhone X is launching in just Space Gray and Silver

  • Both have 5.8″ inch OLED display
  • Both Support HDR content
  • Both have infinite display
  • Samsung is higher resolution and sharper (iPhone X:2436 x 1125 for 458 pixels per inch, Samsung Galaxy S8: 1440 x 2960 for 570 pixels per inch), but iPhone X has true tone display(adjusts white balance according to environment)
  • iPhone X has 3D touch and gesture control instead of home button whereas
Samsung Galaxy S8 meanwhile lets you swipe across the curved edges to bring up menus and shortcuts to apps, contacts or any number of other things you might want quick access to

  • iPhone: Brand-new A11 Bionic chipset, which is a six core and fastest  chipset by Apple
    According to rumors RAM: 3GB
  • Samsung S8: octa-core chipset (a Snapdragon 835 in the US or an Exynos 8895 elsewhere)
    4GB of RAM.

  • iPhone X: 64 and 256GB variant with no microSD card slot available
  • S8: only 64Gb internal storage but microSD slot is there which is expandable up to 256GB

  • iPhone X: iOS 11
  • S8: Android Nougat

  • iPhone X: 12 MP dual-lens camera(which is an improved version than iPhone 7 plus camera), has optical stabilization on both the lenses, 4K video can be shot at up to 60fps and 1080p slo-mo video at 240fps, supports AR(augmented reality features)
Front camera: 7 MP, which also has the ability to use depth of field effects
Also, have 3D face scanner, which unlocks the phone just by looking at it
  • SAMSUNG GALAXY S8: Rear: Single lens 12MP camera, includes optical image stabilization, 4K video is capped at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps
    Front camera: 8MP front-facing camera
    Less advance 2D face scanner

  • Apple doesn’t reveal battery size but it will last for 2 hours longer than the iPhone 7, it also supports fast wireless charging
  • The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a 3,000mAh battery and that too supports wireless charging, as well as fast charging

Obviously comparing these will be similar to comparing apples to oranges but still to know the actual limitation/differences we need to experience the hands-on experience of the new iPhone. So till then sit tight wait for the new blog so that you can decide on which phone to invest.
